Our CSER mission is to "give back to society what we receive". With this concept in mind, LITE-ON Group continues to get involved in community activities and green programs.
From EU's perspective, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) refers to the concept whereby companies integrate social and environmental concerns in their business operations and in their interaction with their stakeholders on a voluntary basis. The World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) defines Corporate Social Responsibility as "the corporation's promise to obey ethics, contribute to economic development, and improve the living quality of employees and their families, communities and society." At LITE-ON we have implemented a CSR program with an emphasis on the environment.
