Lite-On Technology Corp. (TW 2301) today reported May consolidated revenue of NT$10.15 billion, up 2% M-o-M, its second highest monthly revenue in 2011, thanks to the well order intake in the core business groups. Cumulative sales from January through May reached NT$48.5 billion, maintaining approximately the same level as during the same period last year.
Thanks to steady end-demand in consumer markets for products such as panels, tablet PCs and smart phones, and ongoing market-share gains coupled with smooth deliveries by the Cameral Module and LED businesses, the Optoelectronics SBG posted remarkable growth of 10% M-o-M and 29% Y-o-Y.
